Eenee, meenee, mynee, moe…

That’s how I decided on the next thing to knit. Only, I was doing that to my “UFO” pile – and then I ran across the printed out pattern for “Fetching“  and thought – hey! I think that’s what I’ll do next!  So, the UFO pile remains undisturbed…and the next project is finally on the needles.  I feel so much better.  It’s really disconcerting to sit down to watch Nero Wolfe reruns and not have something to knit. [Aside:  Did you know there's a "Nero Wolfe" Cookbook?  Neither did I!  It's called Too Many Cooks] – kind of goes along with the character always butting in to his chef’s business, I guess.  So, anyway – I’m making “Fetching” mitts from some stash yarn, probably for me, unless they’re too small, and then someone else gets them – and watching Nero Wolfe reruns with my hunny these evenings.  I’m Happy.

And – after I read the Yarn Harlot’s trevails today – I almost feel like a REAL knitter!  I thought this stuff only happened to me.  Bless her heart.  What a story – and a LAUGH.
