Here’s how it will look once it’s finished drying: 
Yarn is a Noro yarn I got a couple of years ago, I think it’s called Iro. It’s bulky weight, so hat is a fast knit. Modifications I made: I of course tried the tubular cast-on I’ve been waiting to do. That’s SWEET! Then I decided just to do a 1 x 1 rib instead of to 2 x 2 rib suggested in the pattern – neither of which can really be seen in these pics. Will have to add more views once it’s finished drying and I can photograph it. I’m kind of enjoying the little alien look for now.
