I’m collecting ways to start my next sock project. I believe it will be a toe-up version of something from this book. I just got it in the mail along with some very special yarn…but first I need to finish the ones I’m working on. Finally turned the corner on sock #1 for Michael. Not sure why I was goofing up all the other times, but it’s got a very nice heel and gusset on it now - well, “very nice” for my skills anyway. I’d love to have Grumperina’s talent for heels and socks, but I’ve got a LONG way to go before I’m at that skill level. Anyway…I’m going to try this method for the toes next. It’s been fun learning all the different ways there are out there to make socks. Who knew?
