On the needles…July 8th
Ashland Bay Traders roving in “Amethyst” which I got at Elizabeth’s Fiber2Yarn.com 
Once my pesky postoffice finally realized that they had to give ME any and all fiber that I order online, I started trusting them again to DELIVER. Besides, I needed something to finish out this project with. I didn’t want to take a chance of it not being the exact match to the pretty teal I started with though, so instead opted for a complimentary color. This amethyst color roving is quite yummy, and the teal has a few flecks of amethyst in it so I think they go together nicely.
This is the project. Can you guess what it is? I’m very pleased with how the yarn came out (take a closer look by clicking the picture).
This is how I’m counting rows. the first marker (blue one on the right) is the beginning of the row. The pink stitch marker get’s moved one stitch each time I complete a row. (Think I’m on row 21 here of the last increase.) I need to do 30 rows before it’s time to do something different.
