Close Enough!
I don’t care if the stripes don’t “match.” I’ve never been one to care about such things most of the time anyway! My biggest concern was getting the heels the same length. The needles are pulling down a little on Sock #2 so it doesn’t look perfect here - but they’re pretty close, so I’m happy with it. Looking forward to being done with this pattern. It makes a tight dense fabric - I’m using US#1 needles - not much stretch to it, but they should wear well. This Sock-It-To me yarn is very affordable at Elann.com. Not the prettiest stuff I’ve found, but I’d recommend it to beginning sock-knitters. It’s inexpensive, and fun to see how the stripes come out as you hone your sock-knitting skills.
