I have been knitting and spinning for a few years now, and blogging about it for a couple. I live in the California gold country foothills with my husband Michael and stepson Sean. I’m a relatively recent “transplant” to the foothills from California’s central coast where I grew up and raised my son. So, I blog here at CatKnitsandThings.com about my knitting, spinning and other fibery pursuits, and also at SmithandtheJonesgirl.com about our life here in Calaveras County as a way of not only keeping a journal of it all, but also to keep in touch with friends and family. A nice “bonus” has been meeting a few new friends this way. It’s always a treat for me to have folks stop by the blog and say “hi”.
